Nurturing curious minds and grounded hearts through immersive learning in nature.
“We have such a brief opportunity to pass on to our children our love for this Earth, and to tell our stories. These are the moments when the world is made whole.”

Moonsprouts Nature Preschool Program
Nestled on a peaceful two-acre property at the edges of Graton and Sebastopol in West Sonoma County, our primarily outdoor preschool program offers children ages 2.5–5 a nurturing, small-group forest school experience where curiosity and connection to nature can flourish.
Meeting Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm with an intimate 1:4 ratio, children are guided through rhythm-based days filled with imaginative play, seasonal exploration, songs, storytelling, and hands-on learning with natural materials—including plenty of nature-based STEM experiences woven organically into play.
Join Our Outdoor Journey!
The first five years of life are foundational for social-emotional development, shaping how children build relationships, regulate emotions, and engagewith the world around them. In a nature immersion setting, children naturally strengthen these skills while also developing strong early literacy and STEM understanding through hands-on exploration, storytelling, problem-solving, and curiosity-driven play. Surrounded by the rhythms of the natural world, learning becomes meaningful, integrated, and deeply rooted in real experience.
